Purchase orders issued to you
For self-employed operatives: reading and acknowledging a PO, then invoicing against it.
If you work self-employed, the office issues you a purchase order covering a period of work so you can invoice the company against it. They appear under My Purchase Orders on My Work and you're notified when one is issued.

On the PO
Title, period start and end, and one line per job worked — date, task/address, units and unit type (days, hours, visits), cost per unit, any additional rate columns and the line total — with the overall total at the bottom.
Acknowledge
Open the PO and press Acknowledge to confirm you've received it and agree the lines. If something is missing or wrong, message the office before acknowledging; they can amend a draft or issue a revision.
- Invoice: download the PDF and quote the PO number on your invoice. When the office pays, the PO shows Paid.
