Onboarding & leaver checklists, probation and reviews
Automatic checklists, probation reviews booked for you, appraisals on a cycle, and signed review packs.
Checklists
Creating a record with status Onboarding (or hiring a candidate) attaches your onboarding checklist; moving someone to Leaver attaches the offboarding one. Templates live in HR → Settings; items are owned by HR or by the employee — employees tick their own items from My HR. Completing onboarding sets the person Active.
Reviews
Kinds: probation, appraisal, one-to-one, return to work. - A probation review is booked automatically 14 days before the probation end; pass clears it, extend moves the date and re-books. - Completing an appraisal books the next one after the appraisal cycle in HR Settings. - A return-to-work interview is booked when an employee presses I'm back at work after sickness. - The reviewer defaults to the line manager and is notified; reminders go to the reviewer and HR a week before and when overdue.
Completing & signing
The reviewer fills the form, rating, objectives and outcome, then signs on screen to complete. The employee adds comments and acknowledges & signs from My HR. Once both have signed the review is locked and a Review pack PDF (with both signatures) is filed in the employee's documents.
Note: Line managers who aren't HR see only the reviews they hold, on the employee's page.
