Contract invoicing: per visit or combined, hours & PO
Turning completed visits into invoices with the right hours, operatives and client PO.
Open the contract → Invoicing tab. Completed, uninvoiced visits are listed by month (toggle 'Include visits not yet completed' for advance billing).

- Tick a visit — to open its billing row: for hourly/daily contracts enter the hours (or days) worked — pre-suggested from actual on-site time when the operative arrived and completed, otherwise from the scheduled window — plus operatives and the client PO for this visit. The line total updates live (operatives × hours × rate). Fixed-rate visits just take the PO.
Mode
One invoice per visit — each invoice carries that visit's PO (the client's usual monthly batch of individual invoices). One combined invoice — a single invoice with a line per visit; if visits have different POs each line shows its PO, otherwise the invoice-level PO field is used.
- Raise — creates draft invoices linked to the contract and visits; the visits are stamped as invoiced (hours, operatives and PO recorded). Use Send N drafts to portal to email them and publish to the client portal, or open an invoice to review. Open in invoice editor instead pre-fills the editor with the selected visits if you want to add extra lines.
Guardrails
Already-invoiced or cancelled visits are refused; hourly visits need hours > 0; cancelling or deleting an invoice releases its visits so they can be re-invoiced.
