Area-match suppliers & one-click Ask

Finding suppliers who cover the request's area and trade, and asking them to quote in one click.

On every request with an address, the Area Match card lists suppliers ranked by how well they fit: exact town/county match first, then postcode area, region, and Nationwide. When a Service Required is set, suppliers whose trade or services match are pinned to the top with a Trade match chip.

Ask for a quote in one click

Press Ask next to a supplier. They get the PDF brief and a personal submit-quote link; the request timeline records it and the button turns to Sent ✓ (remembered on refresh). Suppliers already invited via the Invite Supplier dialog also show as Sent.

Where the data comes from

Supplier profiles — Services offered and Areas covered (county/region/Nationwide pickers). Keep those accurate and the matches improve; suppliers can maintain them from their own portal.
