Job profit
Every job page has a Job profit card; Reports → Job profit lists every job for a period with filters (status, client, engineer). - Revenue = invoices ex VAT (sub-jobs rolled in); before invoicing the approved quote stands in as projected. - Costs = approved supplier bills (from the moment the office approves), approved expenses, stock issued, works-order invoices and labour — completed arrive→complete windows × each engineer's fully-loaded £/hour (Settings → Labour costs; a default rate is flagged). - Quote vs actual — quoted cost and price from the builder quote, cost variance and an over-quote flag past your threshold (5% by default). - Margin alerts — when a cost lands and the margin drops under your threshold (20% default), office users get an in-app notification and e-mail, the job gets a timeline note and an amber badge; it alerts again only if it gets ≥5 points worse and re-arms when the margin recovers.
The report's tiles count loss-makers, thin margins, not-yet-invoiced jobs and estimate accuracy; red rows are losses, amber thin margins. CSV export included.
